Prof. Rogerio, co-founder and head professor at Newaza BJJ Club, moved to the U.S. in 1997. Raised in a sports environment, he competed in handball until age 20. He started Jiu Jitsu in 1998 and earned his black belt in 2014 from Daniel Gracie.
Peter Vo, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with over 10 years of experience, discovered his passion for grappling in high school wrestling. After college, he began training BJJ under Cesario de Souza and later continued under Adila Pereira. He received his black belt from Adila Pereira in 2014 at the Boston Open.
